About the role

The Finance Business Partner (BP) for IT / ES supports the Managing Directors of Italy and Spain and partners with their commercial teams. This role advises on financial matters, supports decision-making, drives change, and promotes finance digitalization and standardization, facilitating the transition to a new finance operating model.

The Finance BP is responsible for the financial performance of the Italy/Iberia cluster, collaborating with local management to define strategies related to volume, profitability, pricing, customer and product mix, costs, and working capital.

Key responsibilities include

  • Act as a business partner to the Managing Directors and commercial teams; provide decision support and influence key decisions.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies in collaboration with the management team.
  • Steer the Mid-Term Plan (MTP) following global FP&A guidelines.
  • Drive profitability and working capital management aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide analytical support to understand business dynamics.
  • Collaborate on budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead projects to improve business performance, including profitability and working capital.
  • Coordinate commercial business case preparations for expansions, outsourcing, and new initiatives.
  • Support the transition to the new finance operating model, including GBS leverage.
  • Promote finance process improvements, digitalization, and standardization.
  • Work with Pricing to ensure accurate product pricing reflecting costs and interest.
  • Maintain financial integrity and controls using data and insights from global finance functions.

About you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Extensive finance experience, preferably in multinational B2B or food industries.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in finance.
  • Analytical, flexible, and solution-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
  • Team player with SAP (including BW) and IFRS knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under conflicting demands.

This role is based in Italy (Milan) or Spain (Barcelona) and involves travel.
