Become a part of AI-driven logistics innovation as a MLOps Engineer/Data Scientist at CEVA Logistics, a leader in supply chain solutions.

YOUR ROLE

As a MLOps Engineer/Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in CEVA Logistics’ Global IT Data & Digital organization, reporting to the Global IT Data & Digital – BI & Advanced Analytics – AI & Data Science Manager. This hybrid role combines data science expertise with operational practices focused on industrializing and deploying AI and machine learning solutions at scale.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, Corporate Support, Business Development, and Operations to develop and industrialize machine learning models, ensuring AI-driven insights are seamlessly integrated, scalable, and optimized to deliver ongoing value.

This role requires expertise in data science, machine learning, and processes that turn innovative solutions into robust enterprise systems.

This position is open in Spain (Madrid/Barcelona), Poland (Warsaw), or India (Mumbai).

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Design, build, and deploy models to solve business challenges using data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Industrialize use cases, transforming proof-of-concept models into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
  • Use MLOps tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, MLflow, TensorFlow, etc.) for automating deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of models.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and modern deployment architectures.
  • Develop with Python, SQL, and big data technologies to handle large datasets.
  • Implement model governance, monitoring, and retraining to ensure ongoing business value.
  • Collaborate across teams for smooth development-to-deployment transitions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in AI, Data Science, and MLOps with proven results.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Advanced certifications in AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or MLOps are a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Technical Expertise:

Data Science:

  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries like TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and PyTorch.

MLOps:

  • Experience with deploying, automating, and maintaining models using tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Data Management:

  • Experience with Snowflake for data storage and processing, and Dataiku for data science workflows.

Big Data Technologies:

  • Familiarity with platforms and tools for processing large datasets.

Data Visualization:

  • Experience with Qlik Sense, Streamlit, or similar tools for developing dashboards and reports.

Model Development & Industrialization:

  • Experience transitioning models from prototype to production, ensuring scalability and robustness.

Cloud Platforms:

  • Strong experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure for deploying and managing AI/ML models.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Problem Solving & Innovation:

  • Strong analytical skills and a creative approach to leveraging AI for business solutions.

Soft Skills:

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, with good time management skills.

Additional Information:

This role involves working with existing and new cloud tools, leveraging CEVA’s Data Platform. A proactive attitude and commitment to data-driven solutions are essential.
