Job Summary

The Global Measure team is looking for a candidate for the position of Global Media Data Analyst. His/her knowledge of online media combined with his/her analytical skills will shape the core of his/her responsibilities.

The Global Media Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical feasibility of product enhancements and new developments for Reporting and Measurement projects and tools, as well as being a tech liaison between the Product Owner and IT teams. Reporting directly to the Product Owner, this role will bridge the gap between strategic product vision and technical implementation, collaborating with IT teams while providing in-depth technical guidance within the Product team.

  • S/He will work with the Global Product Owner, and Global IT in the business and technical definition of Reporting and Measurement tools and projects.
  • S/He will support the Product team to align business requirements with functional and technical specification and architecture.
  • S/He provides data expertise and works closely with the Product Owner, and other HAVAS technical teams.
  • S/He contributes to the continuous improvement of working practices, application quality, tooling and agile processes.

Mission & Responsibilities

Functional:

  • Technical Feasibility Analysis :
    • Assess and validate technical viability of Reporting and Measurement tools and projects.
    • Identify risks and suggest efficiency improvements and scalability for Reporting and Measurement tools and projects, and their technical frameworks.
    • Provide technical recommendations for enhancements and new developments within the existing tech stack, as well as potential integrations with other tools to optimize performance.
    • Liaise between Product team and IT for seamless handoffs, and support IT implementation.
  • Media Expertise in Measurement and Reporting:
    • Leverage an in-depth understanding of media and campaign reporting processes to translate a business brief into a tech brief and guide data integration, visualization, and reporting requirements for market and client implementation.
    • Understand and collaborate on definition of KPI frameworks, naming conventions, data mapping, and schema design.
  • Data Governance and Best Practices:
    • Work with the Product Owner in defining and developing best practices for data governance, including mapping and transformation.


Technical & Data Expertise:

  • Experience:
    • 4 to 6 years in a technical role within media, marketing, or campaign reporting domains, demonstrating a strong understanding of omnichannel planning and measurement frameworks.
    • Demonstrated experience in defining projects using reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau, as well as working with cloud-based platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
    • Experience with Data Extraction and Aggregation Tools: Proven familiarity and hands-on experience with platforms like Funnel, Supermetrics, Datorama, or similar tools for extracting, aggregating, and integrating data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics.
  • Familiarity with key Digital Marketing data sources such as :
    • Google Marketing Platform (Google Ads, CM360, DV360, SA360).
    • Social Platforms (Facebook Ads, Business Manager, Sprinklr, Paragone, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat).
    • Other DSPs (Xandr, Adobe Advertising Cloud, Teads, The Trade Desk, Sizmek).
    • Verification Tools (DoubleVerify, IAS).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in Power BI, Excel, Power Query, SQL, GCP (BigQuery).
    • Strong understanding of data mapping, ETL processes, and naming conventions.
