We're pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join Voodoo Park as a Senior Full Stack Developer (JS / TS / Python) in Spain. We are looking for talented Full Stack Developers to work on a new Fintech project. If you'd like to join our dynamic team and believe you have the necessary skills, please get in touch!

Role Overview

The role involves extending our current cloud-based Portfolio Management solution through functional enhancements, including uplifting the existing codebase and developing new services and features.

As part of a growing UK domain team supporting the Portfolio Management Solution, you will contribute to designing, developing, delivering, and supporting business solutions following the software development lifecycle and processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop software components within quality standards.
2. Resolve issues, defects, and queries promptly during all development phases.
3. Follow configuration management processes for deploying code.
4. Adhere to development protocols, methods, and tools.
5. Conduct quality reviews of your own and peers' deliverables.
6. Provide sizing estimates for development tasks.
7. Report progress regularly and escalate issues as needed.

Key Relationships :

• Work closely with your engineering team to achieve project goals.
• Liaise with your team lead to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with other teams and colleagues across the business to deliver project objectives.
• Your team lead will regularly review your personal progress and development plans.

Core Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes :

• Experience managing a project through all development stages into production.
• Knowledge of object-oriented development environments.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures.
• Familiarity with agile project frameworks.
• Understanding of source control, release management, task management, and application lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of unit testing and test automation.
• Experience with Financial Services solutions (Markets, Wealth, Trading).

Technical Skills :

• Python
• React
• REST APIs and asynchronous messaging
• Node.js
• MS SQL Server or other RDBMS
• Automated testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit)
• Object-Oriented Design
