Freelance Software Tester (Localization Testing, Spain)

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in Spain to join us in testing our client’s app, a cross-platform cloud app service. For this project, we will be focused on localization testing.

To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking and will be given some material to go through to prepare you for testing.

Requirements

• Age : You have to be at least 18 years old
• Location : Must live anywhere in Spain
• Availability : We do not have a strict testing schedule, the requests to test will be sent on an ad-hoc basis ahead of time and you can decide for yourself whether you can participate or not based on your availability.
• Language : Spanish (Native preferred) in order to make sure that the app is properly localized in your language; English (intermediate or higher) in order to communicate with the team and read the testing instructions
• Devices : any of the following : iOS Mobile, Android Mobile, Mac (macOS), and PC (Windows)
• Experience : Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow.

You will be asked to take 2 preparatory courses on our platform to ensure you are ready for testing. One will cover Localization testing guidelines, the other will cover freelancing guidelines for our platform.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing : Localization testing
• Type of work : short-term, freelance.
• Workload : Ad-hoc testing (possibly bi-weekly but unconfirmed), with each task taking approximately 2 – 4 hours
• Payrate : The payrate for this is $18 USD / hr.
• Payment : You are paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
