Job Description :

As an engineering team member, your responsibilities will include piloting new applications and assisting with startups of new filtration systems in international projects. You will lead pilot tests and gather essential data for full-scale project design. Collaborating with specialists in the Netherlands and Spain, you'll support the Sales Engineering team in preparing detailed technical and commercial quotations for our international customers. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager of Berghof Membranes.

Your main responsibilities

• Define the goals and steps of pilot tests in detail with our customers to achieve the desired targets
• Assist our customers with the startup and commissioning of ultrafiltration plants
• Guide our customers through the entire process and ensure all relevant data is acquired
• Analyze the results of pilot tests and convert the data into relevant information for the design of full-scale projects

Your secondary responsibilities

• Assist our sales engineering team in defining quotations and discussing process-related documentation during the quotation phase, such as P&IDs and PFDs
• Act as a liaison between international Sales Managers and the Technology department

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Water Technology, or a similar field
• Five years of experience in similar functions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch and German are a plus)
• Proactive team player comfortable balancing commercial and technological arguments
• Problem-solving attitude to overcome challenges on the fly
