We are looking for a Platform Engineer (xfm) for the Cloud & Developer Platform department at Sartorius Spain S.A.

In this position, you will play a central role in the development of our Developer Platform. Your responsibilities include integrating development teams' requirements into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and development tools. The role is full-time and offers remote work options as well as on-site presence at our Madrid office.

• Design, improve, and maintain our internal developer platform to enhance developer experience and optimize development processes.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipeline templates and provide golden paths for accelerated software development.
• Develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure in Azure using Terraform.
• Integrate developer tools such as SonarQube and Snyk to ensure seamless usage by development teams.
• Create modern monitoring and alerting solutions with Grafana Cloud, Azure, and Open Telemetry.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to capture requirements and facilitate platform adoption.
• Address problems related to CI/CD, IaC, and development tools, ensuring smooth development workflows.

What will convince us

• A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps practices, software development, or related areas.
• Deep knowledge of implementing DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for creating IaC in containerized cloud solutions, preferably in Azure.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools, and familiarity with tools like SonarQube and Snyk.
• Experience with platform orchestration tools and Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English.
