We offer an Electrical Project Engineer position, reporting to our Engineering Manager.
This position will work at our Spanish Production Plant located in Santa Margarida i els Monjos.

What you will do
- Manage the entire life cycle of electrical projects, from conception and scope definition to commissioning, closure, and documentation.
- Prepare technical specifications, electrical plans, single-line diagrams (EPLAN), and other engineering documents necessary for projects.
- Perform electrical calculations (loads, conductor sizing, protections) to ensure the proper functioning and safety of installations.
- Design medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems, including the selection of equipment such as transformers, switches, protections, etc.
- Design automation and control systems using PCC.
- Directly supervise electrical installation work carried out by external contractors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, deadlines, budget, and safety regulations.
- Test and commission electrical installations, verifying their correct operation and making any necessary adjustments.
- Work closely with other departments (production, maintenance, quality, safety) to identify needs, define solutions, and ensure project integration, considering food quality standards.
- Manage budgets and deadlines for electrical projects, controlling costs and ensuring completion within established limits.
- Ensure compliance with national and international electrical regulations (REBT, ATEX), internal company policies, and food safety standards (HACCP, BRC, IFS).
- Participate in the preparation and updating of technical documentation for existing electrical installations.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and the reliability of the plant's electrical systems, considering food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Provide technical support and electrical fault resolution to maintenance and production teams.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in industrial electrical engineering, safety, and quality standards in the food sector.
