Exploring the role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying potential clients within the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for generating demos and initiating contact with prospects, representing RateGain and educating them about the benefits of RateGain’s products.

The ideal candidate is passionate about full-funnel digital marketing, social media, and possesses excellent communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Demand Generation : Utilize channels like cold outreach, email campaigns, and social media to identify and generate demos within your assigned region or market.
  • Initiate conversations with high-profile personas of target companies.
  • Represent RateGain and pitch the company and its products to prospects.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to convert inbound interests into opportunities.
  • Qualify prospects based on interest and generate demos.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify decision-makers and introduce RateGain’s solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships through regular communication to understand client needs.
  • Manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads for timely follow-up and sales progression.
  • Keep accurate records of interactions and report on lead metrics.
  • Work flexibly across different shifts and regions.

Education & Work Experience

  • 2–6 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business administration, or related field.

Knowledge

  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Prepare reports on account status, collections, and progress toward targets.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and hospitality marketing strategies.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, with proactive sales pursuit.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of customer needs.
  • Interest in learning new technologies.
  • Experience in B2B sales, lead generation, outbound sales, email campaigns.
  • Experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
  • Problem-solving skills for complex situations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Openness to learning and adapting.
