We are looking for 1 dynamic Sales Representative to join our northern team and help us drive growth in the biologicals sector in Castilla y León region.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our biological products to distributors and rural customers. You will work closely with our Market Developer team to implement commercial strategies, conduct field research, and provide expert guidance on physiological, nutritional, and biological management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and employees, adhering to Corteva Agriscience values.
  • Conduct regular visits to distributors and end customers to understand their needs, update their data, and offer tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Market Developer team to execute commercial strategies in your area.
  • Prospect for new clients through in-depth market analysis.
  • Manage distributor relationships to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Develop and execute action plans (budget and forecast) and marketing plans within company quality standards.
  • Oversee the sales process, including order management, pricing, product margin, delivery planning, and payment monitoring.
  • Assist in setting up and monitoring demonstration areas for key clients, ensuring excellence in development, application, and harvesting.
  • Facilitate information flow between clients (distributors) and the company, proactively addressing issues and participating in solution discussions with managers and the agronomy team.
  • Submit timely reports on activities, visits, and sales, and schedule weekly activities in advance.
  • Collaborate with all company departments to meet requests on time, share results and best practices, and engage in critical analysis and communication.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource through training sessions for the distribution system, end users, and influencers in your region.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure product performance in the field.
  • Monitor distributor product stock and collaborate with the Market Developer to create action plans to achieve sales targets.

Requirements

  • Degree in Agronomy, or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience selling agricultural solutions for crops cultivated in their working area
  • Proficient in Spanish; fluent in English will be a plus
  • Effective use of computers and MS Office.
