Business Controller IO & QA (FP&A) - Temporary
Location : SAB0 - PHARMA SANT ANDREU DE L, ES, ES - Spain
Mission
- Monitoring and improving the internal control processes, ensuring the consistency and validation of financial information in the area.
- Supervising compliance with internal and external guidelines (e.g., IFRS account guidelines, SCIFF, policies).
- Managing financial activities and participating in planning processes, including Budgeting, Forecasting, and 5-year forecasts, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and deadlines.
- Preparing monthly rolling forecasts.
- Controlling and reporting on the financial performance of assigned departments/business units, including costs, accruals, analysis, reporting, forecasting, and monitoring expenses and capex by cost center, accounts, and projects, understanding main cost drivers (risks & opportunities).
- Presenting monthly opex and capex closing, forecasting, and budgeting exercises to the Leadership Team.
- Preparing and analyzing monthly area reports and corporate reporting packages, ensuring timely and quality closing.
- Acting as a Business Controller for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of business cases for support functions (e.g., IT, HR).
- Participating in transversal corporate projects.
- Improving and simplifying processes, aligning criteria with Corporate Finance.
- Providing financial support to stakeholders, fostering healthy debates with internal and external business partners, and promoting financial rigor in discussions.
- The role covers pharmaceutical and chemical plants in Spain and Germany territories.
Education
Degree in Economics, Business Administration, with an interest in operations and industrial organization.
Experience
- Experience in a similar Business Controller role is desirable.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector is preferred.

- Advanced proficiency in SAP, BO, and Office software (especially Excel).
- Proactive, analytical, critical, methodical, and organized.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
