The role

GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructures, and territories. We create systems supporting peacekeeping, search & rescue operations, including training and simulation tools. We are seeking a Software Development Engineer for our I&C area in GTD Defense & Security Solutions, specializing in large, complex, and safety-critical applications. The position is based in Cadiz, San Fernando & Puerto de Santa Maria. More about us :

Position activities

• Work within a multidisciplinary team integrating mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software systems, mainly for land border surveillance and naval systems, across all project lifecycle stages.

Your profile

• Experience with Linux OS
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming in C++ (QT environment)
• Experience with real-time systems applications
• Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools
• Knowledge of software quality practices
• Experience in build generation and continuous integration
• Experience with Docker is a plus
• Experience in software migration is an asset

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM's Change, Synergy, and DOORS tools
• Experience with naval systems programs and Personal Security Clearance (HPS)
• Knowledge of Combat Systems, Command and Control Systems, Training, and Simulation Systems
