Job Summary

Sales account manager for Flavors in Spain and Portugal

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Account Manager (Flavors, Iberia) with a focus in the F&B industry to develop the Flavors business in Spain & Portugal .

Ideal candidates will have technical and commercial experience within the food industry and product development experience in the flavor business. The role involves market prospecting for new clients and growing existing accounts.

Reporting to the Flavors Division sales manager, the account manager will be the primary point of contact between customers and the company. Key responsibilities include developing relationships with customers, proactively identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating internal resources to deliver innovative business solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Market Prospecting : Identify and develop new business opportunities within the flavor sector for the F&B industry.
  • Account Management : Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exploring upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and foster business growth.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration : Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and product managers to ensure seamless service and client satisfaction.
  • Autonomous Management : Manage your schedule and priorities independently to meet business objectives.
  • Customer Support : Provide exceptional support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications :

  • A technical degree (chemistry, biology, food technology, or similar) and / or experience in similar roles within the F&B industry.
  • 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Preferably experience in food and beverage industry & flavor sales.
  • Fluency in Spanish & English.
  • Willingness to travel (estimated 30-40%).
  • Proficiency with IT tools (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.).
