About the role :

As a Java Team Lead, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will lead an international team of tech professionals that build some of the best quality tools for one of the most important digital construction management companies.

We are creating a team from the ground up and you will be part of an international team, where you will be part of one of the most important projects of this company where you will help the team in the creation of new Business Applications and internal tools working with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of our Scrum teams (Backend, Frontend, QA, Automation)
• Manage the development & operation of the central microservices in the company
• Be responsible for the API design & implementation process
• Make an impact in choosing new technologies and implementing new features
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
• Collaborate with architects and other technical leads to design scalable solutions
• Resolve a high-impact problem through in-depth evaluation of sophisticated architectures, business processes and industry standards
• Serve as advisor to develop highly resilient and future-proof solutions
• Mentor new and existing team members in their professional growth
• Testing : JUnit and Mockito
• Databases : SQL and NoSQL
• Tools : Jenkins, Docker, K8’s
• Methodologies : Agile, Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, Clean Code

Requirements

• 4+ years of Team Lead experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development
• Extensive experience with Relational Databases
• Experienced with AWS (ECS, S3, EC2)
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• High self-motivation and ability to motivate others without using authority
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of English
