Join Our Competition Practice as an Economist

We are keen to speak to Economists interested in joining our Competition practice. Our Competition team works closely with clients and legal counsel, providing a mix of strategic advice and technical support. We assist in pre-empting issues, producing and responding to technical analysis, preparing client submissions and expert reports, and giving oral evidence. The latest examples of our work can be found below:

• Accurately delivering work scoped by others using a range of techniques.
• Engaging professionally with clients; actively listening and understanding their perspectives and needs.
• Identifying how the relevant economic framework, as set out by project managers, will address the case.
• Applying relevant core microeconomic theory and empirical techniques across various Competition projects.
• Delivering high-quality technical work by applying best practices.
• Identifying key results from analysis that will prove or disprove hypotheses.
• Adapting written work to the target audience in style and level of detail.
• Supporting peers in preparing well-structured, clear client deliverables.
