THE ROLE
We are seeking an E-commerce Manager with an analytical mindset and advanced knowledge of growth and personalization strategies in e-commerce environments. This role will be responsible for the ongoing optimization of our online store, ensuring a seamless user experience, and creating sustainable growth strategies to drive conversions, customer retention, and brand engagement.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Content Management
- Update website content directly or in collaboration with the content team.
- Create and optimize landing pages for lead generation campaigns, such as Black Friday.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Develop and maintain regular reports on acquisition, product growth, and user retention in e-commerce.
- Analyze key metrics such as Conversion Rate (CR), Average Order Value (AOV), product sales, etc., and recommend improvements based on findings.
Optimization and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Implement techniques and strategies to improve conversion, including A/B testing on critical elements of the user experience.
- Continuously enhance checkout processes to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
Supervision and Coordination
- Oversee the performance of apps and websites, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with the brand and digital product teams to improve the user experience.
- Ensure the product catalog is always up to date in terms of imagery, copy, and SEO.
Growth and Retention Strategy
- Develop strategies to increase the number of registered users on the platform and boost customer loyalty through waitlists and wishlists.
- Identify and execute opportunities for developing new digital platforms, such as a potential app.
User Experience Focus
- Ensure a positive post-purchase experience, including an effective order tracking system (Pre-Order experience).
- Collaborate on the implementation of personalization strategies to enhance engagement.
Language and Localization Analysis and Optimization
- Manage and optimize the multilingual web experience to ensure proper localization and cultural adaptability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar e-commerce management role with direct responsibility for sales optimization, customer retention, and growth strategy development.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience in reporting e-commerce metrics and analyzing conversion data.
- Expertise in CRO and A/B testing to optimize user experience.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work closely with marketing, product development, and content teams.
- Experience in content management and SEO strategies to maximize product catalog performance.
- Knowledge of e-commerce personalization and customer loyalty strategies.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and other e-commerce data and reporting platforms.
- Proficiency in a CMS like Shopify.
- Experience with digital acquisition campaigns and generating UTMs for tracking.
- Fluency in English and additional languages to coordinate and manage website localization across multiple markets.
