This person will be responsible for the IT Service Costs Management for the global IT organization. This position will need to ensure that forecasting, budgeting, and cost controls are in place to allow for precise management of IT costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain transparency for IT service cost, consumption, and business value (data – process – governance).
- Set up and orchestrate the IT planning and forecasting process.
- Execute cost variance analysis based on budget, forecast, and actuals. Identify root causes for deviations, define correction measures with management, and track execution.
- Work closely with colleagues in Group Finance to ensure timely and correct delivery of inputs for IT to Group Finance processes.
- Drive strategic cost analytics and prepare strategic decisions, support the business with business cases, and facilitate investment decisions between senior business leaders, IT leadership team, and finance.
- Business ownership for relevant service costing and service portfolio IT solutions (based on ServiceNow platform): Capture requirements, develop the solution roadmap, and liaise with technical teams and suppliers (“Product Owner”).
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in service costing, cost allocations, management reporting, and business case calculation.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for data modeling and analysis.
- Combination of IT service management and IT finance knowledge.
- Good understanding of IT service delivery chains: applications, infrastructure, workplace.
- Ability to shape storylines to enable strategic decisions.
- Experience working in cross-functional, international environments across all hierarchy levels including senior management.
- Proactive personality with strong communication skills and the ability to drive change.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under time pressure.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ideally experienced in ServiceNow (SPM module and/or CSDM) and/or Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.
- Knowledge in application business management (“product owner”) is a plus.
