GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructure, and territories. We create systems supporting peacekeeping, search & rescue operations, including training and simulation tools.

We are seeking a SW Development Engineer to join our I&C team at GTD Defense & Security Solutions, part of GTD Group, specializing in large, complex, and safety-critical applications. The role is based in Cadiz, San Fernando & Puerto de Santa Maria.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers focused on system integration across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software levels, mainly for land border surveillance and naval systems, covering all project lifecycle phases from specification to validation.

Requirements

• Experience with Linux Operating System
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming with C++ (QT environment)
• Experience in real-time systems applications
• Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools
• Knowledge of build generation processes
• Experience with continuous integration, cross, and distributed compilation
• Docker experience is a plus
• Software migration experience is advantageous

Nice to have

• Experience using IBM's Change, Synergy, and DOORS tools
• Experience with naval systems programs and Personal Security Clearance (HPS)
• Knowledge of Combat Systems and / or Command and Control Systems
• Knowledge of Training and Simulation Systems
