Medical Services Specialist

We are seeking a customer-focused individual to serve as the primary resource for customers contacting the Information Center regarding products and services. The Medical Services Specialist will utilize healthcare experience and product/disease state training to communicate effectively via telephone, email, and written communication. The role covers a broad range of subjects, including product information, pricing, patient education, quality complaints, and adverse experiences.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, working independently in a call center environment. Building rapport with customers—both internal and external—and maintaining strong customer relationships are essential. The specialist may also contribute to outbound initiatives by contacting customers to deliver specific product messages.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all customer inquiries to successful resolution
  • Provide accurate product and disease state information, including off-label details within standard response guidelines
  • Deliver world-class customer service and immediate inquiry resolution
  • Communicate messages, product information, and offers to healthcare professionals and consumers via outbound calls
  • Evaluate and escalate calls as appropriate
  • Respond to non-phone inquiries via email or fax
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including adverse event and quality processes
  • Manage assigned projects timely
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, medical, and industry information
  • Record customer interactions accurately in systems
  • Share insights on calls, issues, trends, and solutions
  • Collaborate with team members to manage multiple products and issues, sharing best practices
Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in Swedish and Finnish (C1/C2) plus English (B2+)
  • High standard of verbal and written communication
  • Experience in a call center environment preferred
  • Experience providing medical information to healthcare professionals preferred
  • Proficiency with IT systems, PCs, and databases
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Education
  • School completion plus 3 years of training (university, apprenticeship, vocational) or
  • 3 years of training in life sciences preferred
