As the global head of the Food Segment in Business Assurance, you will be responsible for defining strategy, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence in our food certification and services solutions business, ensuring SGS maintains and strengthens its position as a global market leader. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and uphold our reputation for integrity and quality within the TIC industry.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Identify and capitalize on market trends, emerging risks, and opportunities within the food sector, including new service lines.
2. Collaborate with global and regional leadership to ensure consistency in service delivery and innovation.
3. Oversee all operational aspects of food certification services, ensuring compliance with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and internal quality processes.

Reports to: Head of Business Assurance (ExCo).

Qualifications and skills required:

• Familiarity with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Multilingual abilities and international experience are advantageous.
• High integrity and commitment to quality.
