Your Mission

You will lead development efforts to scale onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of Teya customers. Design, implement, and operate customer experiences, complex workflows, and operational task management applications to enable significant growth. Introduce and develop ML and AI solutions to automate complex tasks and enhance human-machine collaboration. Collaborate with a diverse team to shape the future of our technology. You will be involved in the entire feature development lifecycle on multiple full-stack applications, with direct access to customer feedback. Utilize technologies such as Java, Kotlin, React, and Python to write maintainable, performant, and high-quality code. Our focus is on continuous deployment and iterative delivery, with well-tested code to ensure reliability, allowing you to deliver value efficiently.

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will :

• Take responsibility for the success of key projects within the company.
• Solve complex challenges with simple solutions, often in undefined problem spaces.
• Contribute hands-on by delivering high-quality code and setting a high standard.
• Work with Principal Engineers and tech leaders to influence strategic technical decisions.
• Continuously improve engineering practices using data insights and industry knowledge.
• Mentor and coach other engineers, supporting their professional growth.
• Lead design reviews for complex software projects and critical features, fostering shared understanding and identifying pitfalls.

Your Profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving skills using data structures and algorithms, with the ability to analyze complexity.
• Experience documenting and communicating technical decisions to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience mentoring and growing peer engineers.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and lead others through uncertainty.
