• 3 to 5 years of experience in Compliance, preferably in FMCG or Food industry.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is highly valuable.

Job Description : Compliance Legal Specialist at GBfoods

We are seeking a Compliance Legal Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance Europe team. The responsibilities include :

• Assessing financial, operational, and legal risks, developing plans to address potential issues, and advising on prevention, detection, and response strategies.
• Providing regular reports on the effectiveness of compliance measures across our European and African divisions.
• Updating and maintaining the compliance risk map.
• Developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s compliance program and the Ethics and Compliance Committee’s agenda.
• Managing whistleblowing channels, supporting investigations into potential non-compliance with the Code of Conduct, in collaboration with the Internal Control Department.
• Leading compliance projects and managing or participating in offices related to Competition Law and Data Protection.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, guidelines, procedures, and standards in both business divisions.
• Designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to promote awareness and a culture of compliance.
• Collaborating with the Head Office Compliance Manager.
• Reviewing data processing agreements, drafting data protection clauses, conducting balancing tests, and assessing data retention periods.

Requirements :

• A degree in Law with specific qualification or certification in Compliance.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is highly valuable.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Compliance, preferably within the FMCG or Food industry. Background in commercial and corporate law is essential. Skills in Data Protection and Privacy are highly advantageous.
