Remote, based in area of Responsibility. Axiles Bionics is a Brussels-based spin-off from Brubotics (VUB), specializing in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Biomechanics, striving to improve the quality of life with new bionic technologies. Our mission is to bring peace of mind and body to amputees with innovative bionic solutions and outstanding services.

We are seeking a proactive, driven, and self-reliant Area Sales Manager to spearhead growth in underserved regions. This is a hands-on sales position focused on growing revenue by operating the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to assisting during demos and patient trials, as well as nurturing long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outreach, fairs, networking, and industry events.
  2. Drive product adoption by negotiating pricing and terms to ensure successful sales closures with clinics.
  3. Manage presence at regional trade fairs and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
  4. Order Management: Oversee the full sales process, including recording orders in the CRM / ERP system and collaborating with production and logistics teams.
  5. Sales Development & Client Relations: Act as both a relentless prospector and a dedicated account manager, expanding market reach and supporting CPOs with patient trials, training, and product integration to become trusted partners.
  6. Manage your sales pipeline independently, ensuring collaboration between sales, marketing, logistics, and customer support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in prosthetics, kinesiology, sports sciences, or engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in prosthetics or orthotics.
  • Proficiency in the local language(s) and English.
  • Strong practical tech skills for smooth sales operations (e.g., connecting to Wi-Fi, setting up hotspots).
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, email management, and CRM practices.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Interview Process:
  1. 30-minute virtual interview with the Chief Sales Officer.
  2. 60-minute in-person interview with the Chief Sales Officer.
  3. 90-minute final interview with the Chief Sales Officer and Chief Executive Officer, including a sales-related assignment presentation.
