We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Development Technician to join our team, focusing on the Consumer Health sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, identifying, and evaluating potential products to expand our Consumer Health portfolio. This role requires a keen understanding of market trends, competitive analysis, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product selection and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market Research : Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, consumer needs, and potential product opportunities within the Consumer Health sector.
  • Product Evaluation : Analyze and evaluate potential new products, considering factors such as market potential, profitability, and alignment with company strategy.
  • Portfolio Selection : Assist in the selection and prioritization of products for the Consumer Health portfolio, ensuring a balanced and competitive offering.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, sales, regulatory, and supply chain teams to validate product ideas and facilitate successful launches.
  • Competitor Analysis : Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to provide insights that will inform product development and strategic planning.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present reports on market findings, product evaluations, and portfolio performance metrics to management and stakeholders.
  • Networking : Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, suppliers, and key opinion leaders to support business growth initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or product management within the Consumer Health, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with market research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and product development processes in Consumer Health is a plus.
