SCIB GDF is seeking a Structured Finance Energy Associate based in our Boadilla del Monte office, Spain. This role is crucial for supporting our growing finance and business development efforts within the Energy, Power, Renewables, and Energy Transition sectors across Europe and the Andean Region.

Responsibilities :

• Assist senior team members in originating, structuring, and executing business opportunities.
• Support business origination activities and prepare high-quality marketing and internal materials, ensuring clarity and visual appeal.
• Build complex financial models from scratch, accurately reflecting transaction terms and due diligence inputs, running sensitivity analyses, and adjusting as deals evolve.
• Design innovative, value-added financial solutions as the team develops more complex structures.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, especially in financial modeling, providing constructive feedback.

Requirements and Skills :

• At least 3 years of experience in advisory, lending structured finance transactions, or M&A within the renewables infrastructure or renewable industry.
• Proficiency in legal arrangements typical of non-recourse financing.
• Preferred : International experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering; MBA is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling, credit risk presentation, and structured finance fundamentals, including cash flow analysis and debt structures.
• Experience in renewables, ESG, or energy transformation projects is valued.
• Excellent PowerPoint, presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Interdisciplinary skills in finance, accounting, due diligence, and documentation.
• Proactive, creative, with initiative-taking ability and high commitment in demanding environments.
• Languages : Mandatory - English & Spanish; Valued - French or Italian.
