We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Android Mobile Engineer to join our team as a freelancer. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Android development using Kotlin and a passion for creating high-quality mobile applications. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Kotlin.

Key responsibilities:

1. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and best practices.
2. Write unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure code robustness and reliability.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Android applications.
4. Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
5. Optimize application performance for a seamless and responsive user experience.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of professional experience in Android mobile development.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin, with a deep understanding of modern Android architecture components.
• Proficiency in writing clean, readable, and well-documented code.
• Familiarity with SOLID principles and Android frameworks such as Navigation Component, Dependency Injection, Flow, Contracts.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Mock or JUnit.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Fluency in English and native Spanish.
• Contributions to open-source or personal tech projects.

Contract details:

• Freelance contract (6 months with the possibility of extension to 9 months).
• Full-time commitment: 40h/week.
• Fully remote: Work from anywhere.
