Formación

• 2+ years of experience in the residential solar PV sector.

We are looking for a Site Surveyor & Technical Application Engineer to support our residential solar business in Spain. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, combined with hands-on experience conducting site surveys for residential solar PV systems. This role plays a key part in bridging field operations with technical engineering to ensure every project is technically sound, regulatory-compliant, and designed for optimal performance.

Key responsibilities :

• Conduct site surveys for residential PV projects, collecting detailed technical data
• Assess roof structures, shading, electrical systems, and overall site viability
• Generate accurate technical documentation, including layout plans and electrical diagrams
• Provide technical support and system design proposals tailored to each site
• Select and validate solar components such as inverters, batteries, and EV chargers
• Ensure all designs and installations comply with current Spanish regulations and standards
• Support installation teams by providing guidance on best practices and technical requirements
• Liaise with sales and project teams to translate survey data into efficient project execution
• Participate in quality control and technical inspections where necessary

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in the residential solar PV sector
• Experience conducting site surveys for residential PV systems preferred
• Strong knowledge of inverters, battery storage, and EV chargers
• Familiarity with installation standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations in Spain
• Proficiency in technical tools such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar software
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Must have valid driver’s license, own vehicle will be great
