Our team is committed to fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, driving results through rigorous analysis, cutting-edge strategies, and thoughtful decision-making.

Position Overview : We are seeking a results-driven Vice President to join our executive team. This leadership role involves identifying and executing strategic investments, managing key stakeholder relationships, and overseeing portfolio performance. • Degree in Engineering or Business from a top-tier university (technical degree is a plus).
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with proficiency in additional languages such as Portuguese, German, or French being a plus.
  • Strong background in financial modeling and analysis; any relevant experience with programming, data analysis, or financial modeling is highly valued.
  • Expertise in using Excel for financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated track record of managing and growing high-performance teams.
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities and Competencies :

  • Strategic Leadership : Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute Nzyme’s overarching investment strategy, while exhibiting a forward-thinking mindset to identify emerging trends and new opportunities.
  • Investment Execution : Lead investment activities, including market research, risk assessment, negotiation of terms, and deal closure, with a strong ability to make complex decisions under pressure.
  • Origination : Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across diverse industries, including emerging markets and sectors, balancing long-term growth opportunities with risk and reward.
  • Portfolio Oversight : Actively manage portfolio companies and assets to drive value creation, ensuring efficient operations and fostering a hands-on, proactive approach to building a high-performing organization.
  • Risk Management : Oversee risk management efforts, ensuring mitigation across all operational aspects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, financial, and operational standards.
  • Firm Building : Ensure efficient fund operations by optimizing internal processes, technology, and reporting systems, contributing to the firm’s expansion in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Governance and Reporting : Provide regular updates to the Investment Committee on portfolio performance, new deal flow, and strategic initiatives.
  • Investor Relations : Engage in investor relations, providing updates, addressing concerns, and aligning investor expectations with the fund’s strategic goals.
  • Leadership : Inspire, manage, and grow high-performing teams, demonstrating proven leadership abilities and fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Financial Acumen : Strong understanding of financial statements, market trends, investment strategies, and performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive strategic growth.
  • Tech-Driven Growth : A passion for working at the intersection of Private Equity and technology, leveraging both fields to generate high-growth opportunities and contributing to the firm's expansion.

In your day-to-day as Vice President, you will primarily :
