Regional Alliance Manager, Southern Europe

Summary

We are seeking a Regional Alliance Manager for Southern Europe, covering Spain, Italy, and France. Guidewire is expanding its Alliances team to meet global demand for our products and partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with our EMEA alliance strategy and collaborate with external partners as well as internal teams including Sales, Services, Global Alliances, Sales Consulting, and Customer Success to drive growth.

In this role, you will manage your own partnerships within Southern Europe, work with experienced global alliance managers, develop partner enablement strategies, organize co-branded marketing events, foster relationships with Guidewire sales teams and partners, and identify new market expansion opportunities. Your goal is to generate incremental revenue through these alliances.

Job Description

Experience we seek :

  • Strong background in partner relationship development and management.
  • Experience in setting European alliance strategies and teamwork.
  • Proven track record in Global and Regional Alliance Manager models.
  • Experience working with large Systems Integrators.
  • Alliance experience in a major software company with global sales is preferred.
  • Fluent in English and either French, Spanish, or Italian.
  • Business acumen and technical aptitude for engaging at all organizational levels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Become the primary contact for SI-related matters in Southern Europe, mastering SI organizational structures and networks.
  • Set regional strategy in collaboration with EMEA Consulting Partners, Global Alliance Managers, and internal sales and services teams.
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with SIs.
  • Ensure SI teams are knowledgeable about Guidewire's value propositions.
  • Reinforce partnership engagement rules and facilitate sales cycles involving SIs.
  • Collaborate on account and regional go-to-market plans and co-sell strategies.
  • Influence SI service teams to build Guidewire practices supporting business and implementations.
  • Manage agreements, including NDAs, Reseller, Referral, and Teaming arrangements.
  • Leverage SI marketing resources to increase revenue and enable new business development.
  • Monitor partner-involved implementations and address issues proactively.
