bgts is looking for a Platform Engineer to join our dynamic and expanding team, serving clients globally.

What will you be doing :

1. Collaborate closely with our clients' development and product teams in a fast-paced delivery environment.
2. Build and manage a modern, automated, cloud-native, continuous delivery pipeline.
3. Build and manage the cloud resources for our clients' business to use.
4. Understand and ensure security, compliance, and regulation adherence of banking systems.

Requirements

1. Knowledge of technology best practices for building a modern automated DevOps platform.
2. Good understanding of technologies and experience in building a highly scalable and fault-tolerant system.
3. Self-starter, capable of working independently and delivering projects from scratch.
4. Proficiency in development languages (Java / Scala / Kotlin, Python, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3) and strong scripting skills.
5. Experience with DevOps toolchains (GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory, SonarQube).
6. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Spinnaker, Ansible, Chef).
7. Cloud deployment and management experience (AWS preferred, GCP, Azure) via Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
8. Container management and orchestration experience – Docker, Kubernetes.
9. Experience with monitoring tools such as Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
10. Strong knowledge of Linux / UNIX and TCP / IP networking.
11. Understanding of Agile / Lean methodologies such as SCRUM, KANBAN.
12. Practical knowledge of Git flow, trunk-based development, and GitHub flow branching strategies.
13. Knowledge of distributed systems, microservice architecture, and related concepts.
14. Broad knowledge across operating systems, networking, distributed computing, and cloud computing.
15. Cloud certifications at professional levels (Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security, Network) are preferred.
