We are looking for a

Growth Manager

In this position, you will play a key role in driving Heymondo’s global expansion and unlocking new strategic opportunities to accelerate our growth, whilst seamlessly aligning with our company’s mission: making life easier for travelers.

You'll be responsible for identifying and executing growth initiatives—ranging from commercial partnerships and new channel development to enhancing our supplier ecosystem. Your ability to combine analytical thinking with commercial vision will be key to spotting and activating opportunities in both mature and emerging markets.

Your focus will be on building high-impact relationships with strategic partners, clients, and stakeholders, while collaborating cross-functionally with legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure the success and compliance of each initiative.

You will be a growth ambassador within the organization, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer—constantly on the lookout for new markets, product synergies, and scalable business opportunities that align with our mission and values.

Mission:

Identify and drive international growth opportunities by combining strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong stakeholder management. Focus on launching high-impact initiatives and partnerships that fuel expansion, enhance capabilities, and position Heymondo as a global leader in travel insurance.

Key activities / responsibilities:

  1. Lead and execute international growth initiatives in alignment with company strategy.
  2. Identify, assess, and launch new opportunities including commercial agreements, new distribution channels, and strategic partnerships.
  3. Drive strategic sourcing and partnerships with key suppliers to enhance our capabilities.
  4. Evaluate potential market entries, business lines that align with our mission and long-term vision.
  5. Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure feasibility, compliance, and sustainability of each initiative.
  6. Build strong relationships with global stakeholders, from partners and providers to clients and regulators.
  7. Be a key internal ambassador for growth, helping identify improvements and scalable opportunities across departments.

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in Business Administration (ADE) or Economics.
  • Bilingual: Advanced level of Spanish and English.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to spot and act on business opportunities.
  • Proven experience in international and multicultural environments.
  • Experience negotiating complex deals with strategic partners and suppliers.
  • Track record in identifying and evaluating international growth opportunities.
  • Comfortable working with legal, financial, and technical stakeholders to drive cross-functional projects forward.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and driven by impact.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Background in travel insurance or the insurance industry.

Schedule:

Full-time, flexible working hours. 100% remote (we have a very nice office next to Torre Agbar in Barcelona if you prefer to work from there).

  • We can only consider candidates who are Spanish residents and have the necessary documentation to legally work in the country.
