Job Purpose
The Alliances Manager is responsible for driving and expanding strategic alliances that support LEVEL's growth plan. This role involves identifying, developing, and managing partnerships to unlock new opportunities, enhance market presence, and promote scalable, sustainable growth.
This position is based in Barcelona and reports to the Head of Network and Alliances.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and develop partnerships: Seek out and develop alliances with companies aligned with LEVEL’s strategic objectives, maximizing opportunities within existing IAG partners.
- Negotiation and agreement: Negotiate favorable partnership agreements with stakeholders, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes, including participation in group negotiations.
- Opportunities identification: Establish and coordinate working groups to identify and implement partnership opportunities across functions, ensuring alignment and successful execution.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with partners, addressing issues and fostering ongoing collaboration.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on partnership performance to inform strategic decisions.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging partnership opportunities.
- Strategic Alliances Project Management: Manage ad-hoc projects related to strategic alliances.
- Process documentation: Document negotiation processes across all internal stakeholders (commercial, operations, finance, legal, etc.).
Experience
We seek a passionate and experienced professional with:
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial departments, including a minimum of 2 years in Airline Partnerships and Alliances.
- Strong negotiation skills for complex agreements.
- Expertise in relationship management with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and execution abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills for data analysis, performance tracking, and improvement identification.
- Industry knowledge of the airline sector and related industries.
- Business acumen regarding partnerships' financial and business implications.
Languages
Fluent in English and Spanish.
