Avania is hiring for the newly created and key role of Chief Information Officer (CIO). As we continue to expand our global footprint, we seek a visionary and strategic CIO to lead our technology efforts and drive business transformation through cutting-edge digital initiatives.

As the CIO of Avania, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing the company's information technology strategy, systems, and operations. Your leadership will be vital in building a robust IT infrastructure, fostering a culture of digital transformation, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.

The CIO will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for :

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with Avania's business objectives, growth plans, and industry regulations. Create and manage the technology roadmap, ensuring IT investments support business priorities and maintain a competitive edge globally.
• Innovation & Transformation : Identify and implement emerging technologies and digital solutions to enhance business processes, improve patient safety, and drive innovation in medical device and pharmaceutical services.
• Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team, emphasizing talent development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance : Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks (such as FDA, ISO, HIPAA) in handling sensitive medical and pharmaceutical data.
• Operational Efficiency : Oversee the management and optimization of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other senior executives, business leaders, and department heads to support business processes and deliver measurable results through IT initiatives.
• Budget Management : Develop and manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments and resource management.
• Vendor Management : Oversee relationships with external technology partners, vendors, and service providers to meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
