Formación

• At least 2 years in system and electrical engineering, application engineering, or electrochemistry.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of the energy market.
• Understanding of battery systems and applications.

He / She is responsible for technical expertise on Saft's ESS products with the aim of developing competitive technical solutions for our customers. He / She is the main technical interface between the client and the internal team. He / She defines and prepares the technical sizing and requirements of Saft energy storage solutions to customer specifications. He / she provides technical support to business and sales teams. He / She helps engineering teams to continuously improve tools by giving feedback on their utilization. He / She manages the BESS aspect of small and large Energy Storage Solutions projects bid, from customer requirements analysis to bid process management and operation handover. He / She will interact with various multi-discipline professionals : Applications Engineers, AC Team, Service Team, Purchasing, Legal, Operations, Subcontractors. The position is based in Alcobendas, Madrid, Spain.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the BESS market (market trends, new products launched, competitors' solutions, new applications) through interactions with end users / customers, owner engineers, and participation in conferences / webinars.
• Analyze and understand the technical specifications of clients, considering business opportunities and customer requirements, ensuring tenders meet customer specifications.
• Define and prepare the technical sizing of Saft stationary solutions, promoting off-the-shelf products.
• Contribute to updating tools for accuracy.
• Transmit technical information to customers and sales teams.
• Support sales teams in technical discussions with customers and internal teams during offer preparation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in system and electrical engineering (preferred), application engineering, or electrochemistry.
• Knowledge of the grid market is a plus.
• Experience in B2B business within an international and industrial environment.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of the energy market.
• Knowledge of the ESS market is a significant advantage.
• Understanding of battery systems, applications, and techniques.
• Customer-oriented with strong technical communication skills.
• Knowledge of modeling and planning software.
