The role :

GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructures, and territories. We create systems supporting peacekeeping, search & rescue operations, and include training and simulation tools.

We seek a SW Development Engineer to join our I&C team in GTD Defense & Security Solutions, a company of GTD Group specializing in large, complex, and safety-critical applications. The position is based in Cadiz, San Fernando & Puerto de Santa Maria.

Position activities :

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team focusing on system integration at all levels, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software, mainly for land border surveillance and naval systems, across national and export markets, throughout the project lifecycle—from technical specifications to design, production, verification, and validation.

Your profile :

• Experience with Linux Operating System.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming in C++ (QT environment).
• Experience with real-time systems applications.
• Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools.
• Experience in build generation and continuous integration, including cross and distributed compilation.
• Knowledge of Dockers is a plus.
• Experience in software migration is an asset.

Nice to have :

• Experience with IBM's Change, Synergy, and DOORS tools.
• Experience with naval systems programs and Personal Security Clearance (HPS).
• Knowledge of Combat Systems and/or Command and Control Systems.
• Knowledge of Training and Simulation Systems.
