Position: Regional Account Manager Citrix - Spain

Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) business is a global technology enablement company that delivers innovative IT solutions to solve complex business challenges. We provide value-added distribution, business consulting, and channel enablement services to leading technology manufacturers and their channel partners serving commercial and government markets.

The Regional Account Manager Citrix Spain is responsible for owning, driving, and expanding the sales plan for Citrix commercial 'Mid-Market' (not named accounts). This includes generating new business (whitespace), customer winback, and competitive displacement. You will execute this strategy across your region and support our country channel team to meet their goals. Responsibilities include pipeline generation and closure, developing and executing plans to drive opportunities, and maintaining strong business relationships with key partners. You will also build robust reporting and forecasting for your business. Your creative thinking, commercial acumen, proactivity, and commitment will be key to your success. Continual business development and market awareness are essential.

Key Activities
  • Management and execution of commercial new business sales strategies directly with end-user prospects.
  • Ownership of strategic relationships with key prospects (C-level / Senior Management).
  • Implement local execution of EMEA-wide initiatives for strategic programs or market segments.
  • Support key partnerships to generate new commercial opportunities.
  • Coordinate forecasting and pipeline processes in line with Arrow countries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and countries within Arrow ECS EMEA to achieve financial and business goals.
  • Work with marketing to design and develop sales campaigns targeting commercial customer whitespace.
  • Develop sales plays to promote continued adoption of Citrix products by commercial customers.
Person Specification

The candidate should have at least the following experience:

  • Relevant direct sales experience in cloud computing and virtualization technology, managing customer relationships and sales teams within the IT industry. Experience with Citrix products is a strong asset.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, including setting business expectations and objectives.
  • Effective collaboration with marketing to maximize Go-to-Market programs.
  • Leadership skills, team management, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in cloud computing, virtualization technology, or related IT areas.
