We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join an exciting project with a leading multinational client in the automotive sector. Enjoy the benefits of 100% remote work, flexible hours, and intensive Fridays to support your work-life balance.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the migration of on-premises data systems to Azure cloud
2. Optimizing data processing pipelines and queries for performance and cost-efficiency using techniques such as partitioning, indexing, and caching
3. Monitoring and tuning Azure resources, including DX clusters, ADF pipelines, and data storage
4. Using Python and SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis within Azure environments
5. Implementing and maintaining version control with Git and automating workflows with GitHub Actions
6. Establishing CI/CD pipelines for deployment, testing, and monitoring in Azure cloud
7. Conducting code reviews, ensuring coding standards, and promoting collaboration through peer programming

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2. Proven experience in cloud transformation projects, especially with Azure
3. Strong understanding of data lakehouse architecture and experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and ADLS
4. Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
5. Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
6. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on quality solutions
