Position: AWS Cloud Engineer

At DXC Spain, we are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and configuring Cloud Technologies, delivering, maintaining, and optimizing Cloud Platforms (AWS), including infrastructure, network, database, and middleware capabilities to support Cloud modules and solutions.

  1. Create and review Cloud solution designs, understanding their impact on infrastructure and network, and ensuring the availability of supporting infrastructure from internal or external providers.
  2. Monitor, maintain, and support the operational capacity, availability, and performance of Cloud solutions, adhering to SLAs from a support perspective.
  3. Deploy new projects within the existing Cloud infrastructure.
  4. Engage in engineering discussions with Public Cloud service providers to forecast and right-size capacity and performance requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in design and engineering roles for systems analysis, infrastructure, and network design in web-scale environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure and network automation and configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of Public cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies.
  • Understanding of network management in large-scale data center environments.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools, containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), infrastructure testing, security, and test automation.
