Job Opportunity: Head of IT & Digital (Spain)

Are you passionate about making a difference and energy? Our client, an independent power producer (IPP), designs, builds, and operates renewable energy projects. Their goal is to create positive social and environmental impacts in local communities through solar photovoltaic and wind power plants, including storage and hybridization technologies across European markets such as Italy and Spain.

As part of their growth, they are seeking a Head of IT & Digital. In this role, you will lead the development of their digital ecosystem, focusing on building an integrated digital framework that enhances operational efficiency, asset monetization, and seamless integration with Ready-to-Build (RTB) projects and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy and Governance: Develop and implement IT and digital strategies, ensuring integration with RTB and operational processes, aligning with business goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements including cybersecurity and data protection.
2. Infrastructure and Digital Ecosystem Management: Build and develop the digital ecosystem, integrating SCADA, Asset Management, Revenue, and Trading systems; oversee IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms, networks, and monitoring tools for renewable assets.
3. Cybersecurity and Risk Management: Supervise cybersecurity measures, ensure compliance with NIS2 regulations, conduct risk assessments, and develop incident response plans.
4. Data Strategy and Analytics: Define data management strategies, implement analytics solutions for performance monitoring, and support real-time monitoring using AI and machine learning for predictive maintenance.
5. Digitalization and Monetization Support: Drive scalable digital solutions to enhance asset monetization, automate processes, and optimize revenue.
6. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small, efficient IT & Digital team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
7. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring compliance with standards.
8. Project Management: Oversee IT and digital transformation projects, managing budgets and timelines aligned with business objectives.
