We are looking for a IT Support | Data Catalog Consultant to join an exciting project with a leading multinational client in the automotive sector .

Data Consultants are responsible for communication with the departments and the users, serving as first-level contact as part of the platform organization.

You will have support from the entire team in the different workshops and activities to be carried out with each of the clients until together we achieve the complete onboarding of the data in the catalog.

Responsibilities

Request management and first-level support (1LS) :

  • Respond to internal users' (IT or business) questions regarding the use of the data catalog (CDC).
  • Escalate advanced technical inquiries to the Operations team when necessary.
  • Manage requests through ticketing / incident management tools.

User onboarding support :

  • Guide business units through the catalog registration process.
  • Organize workshops and training sessions to explain CDC usage.
  • Resolve roadblocks and ensure compliance with processes and documentation.

Documentation and training :

  • Maintain and update user guides in English.
  • Create training materials and organize FAQ sessions.

Process optimization and reporting :

  • Analyze and suggest improvements in workflow efficiency.
  • Report KPIs on onboarding status and catalog usage (Excel, Power BI).
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance request management.

Coordination with internal and external stakeholders :

  • Communicate with national and international teams to align processes.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk, Data Management, and business units.

Requirements

  • Experience in user support and process analysis. Experience in data teams is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to interact with internal users.
  • Analytical skills to identify process improvements and suggest optimizations .
  • Proficiency in ticketing and incident management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow ).
  • Experience in documentation and training (creating guides, FAQs, and workshops).
  • Basic knowledge of data concepts is a plus, including data movement, metadata, databases (Cloud & On-Premise), and analytics tools (Power BI).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks (Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Advanced English , as documentation and communication may be in this language
  • High intercultural skills, resilience, and ability to work in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.

Modality : full-remote.

Schedule : Flexible, Friday intensive.
