Auth0 Security Engineer, Detection and Response, remoto

Role Overview:

  • Shadow and collaborate closely with the incident commander for security incidents, focusing on prevention strategies.
  • Leverage your experience to proactively hunt for threats across enterprise and production environments, gathering missing data as needed.
  • Serve as an escalation point for automated security alerts.
  • Conduct variant and root cause analysis to identify systemic issues.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex security challenges, balancing business needs and risks.
  • Keep up-to-date with the evolving threat landscape.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
  • Work with security engineers and stakeholders to design and implement security solutions.
  • Create detection rules as code within our proprietary detection pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a high-demand security team.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Strong understanding of attack vectors.
  • Knowledge of cloud workloads (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
