Senior Site Reliability Engineer (GenAI Platform & Services)

As part of our OLX business strategy, we are significantly increasing our investment in GenAI and ML technologies. We are planning to establish a GenAI center at our Barcelona hub, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help us build a platform that enables widespread adoption of GenAI and to validate and develop reusable GenAI services and functionalities. This role can be based anywhere in Spain.

You Will :

1. Be part of the OLX SRE Organization supporting development teams to ensure scalability, high availability, deployment, and performance.
2. Educate and share responsibility within the organization for diagnosing, resolving, and proactively preventing production issues.
3. Automate processes and always configure as code.
4. Take operational responsibility for services, including participating in on-call rotations, incident response, and postmortems.
5. Work within a team focused on Generative AI.

You Have :

1. Experience with MLOps.
2. Proficiency in Python and possibly other modern languages like Java or Go.
3. Understanding of containers and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (EKS).
4. Proven hands-on experience with AWS.
5. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible or Terraform.
6. Experience with Gitlab and/or Jenkins pipelines as code.
7. Strong skills in system and network debugging.
8. Technical understanding of performance, reliability, observability, and incident management tools and methodologies.
9. Enthusiasm for embedding a DevOps mindset, automation, and feedback loops.
10. Experience in deployment problem solving using software engineering principles.
11. Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
12. Proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation.

Good to Have :

1. Hands-on experience with AWS Kinesis, SQS, Lambda (especially in Python).
2. Experience with AWS Athena, EMR, Glue.
3. Knowledge of GDPR compliance.
