Join Axpo as a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer

Play a key role in shaping the future of business intelligence and risk management in energy trading. Support critical data and reporting platforms at the interface of technology and business.

What you will do :
  • Support the Head of ETRM Risk & Regulatory by managing initiatives and driving BI innovation in market and credit risk MDM and regulatory reporting.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions across the development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
  • Ensure QA and contribute to design authority through best practice guidance and reviews.
  • Manage and coordinate BI application development, enhancement, and documentation.
  • Provide multi-level application support and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote adherence to ITSM and quality standards while fostering clear communication structures.
What you bring & who you are :
  • Degree in information science, finance, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise in energy trading systems and BI, including Azure, Power BI, ETL, and DWH.
  • Skilled in programming (.NET, Java, C#), API integrations, and platforms like Endur or Allegro.
  • Team-oriented and analytically strong with conceptual thinking and ownership mindset.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and guide others in a structured, goal-driven way.
