Job Title : Instructional Designer & Trainer – Leadership Development (EMEA Hub – Madrid) with proficiency in English and German

Location : Madrid, Spain (EMEA Hub)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Instructional Designer & Trainer to join our team, responsible for designing and delivering high-quality leadership training programs for a leading German premium automotive OEM. Based in Madrid, you will create and deliver leadership development programs focusing on customer-centric leadership, employee and customer experience, catering to senior leaders in an international, multicultural context. You will need excellent skills in creating visually compelling training materials and employing cutting-edge online engagement tools to ensure an engaging learning experience.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Instructional Design :
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to understand business goals, leadership competencies, and organizational culture.
  • Design and develop customized leadership training programs for senior leaders, emphasizing customer-centric leadership, employee experience, and customer experience.
  • Create high-level, executive-focused content that encourages strategic and critical thinking.
  • Design visually appealing PowerPoint presentations and materials, utilizing tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Integrate multimedia, simulations, and interactive elements into learning materials to maximize engagement.
  • Training Delivery :
    • Facilitate face-to-face and virtual leadership training sessions for diverse, international audiences.
    • Use online tools such as Mentimeter, Kahoot, to foster lively participation and discussions.
    • Deliver content that respects cultural diversity and promotes inclusivity.
    • Create interactive sessions with group exercises, polls, and Q&A segments.
    • Adjust training based on participant needs and cultural contexts.
  • Program Management & Evaluation :
    • Manage logistics for virtual and in-person sessions, ensuring materials are prepared.
    • Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and KPIs, refining content and delivery accordingly.
    • Report on outcomes and collaborate with global teams, especially in Canada and Germany, to ensure cultural and strategic alignment.
    Qualifications :
    • Proficiency in English, Spanish, and German (spoken and written).
    • Proven experience in senior leadership development and designing customer-centric leadership programs.
    • Exceptional PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
    • Experience with online engagement tools (Mentimeter, Kahoot).
    • Ability to facilitate engaging discussions for senior leaders across cultures.
    • Experience in virtual and face-to-face training delivery, preferably within the automotive industry.
    • Certification in instructional design or leadership development frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with LMS and digital training tools.
