BUSINESS UNIT

HRS' Product Management department is crucial in driving the success of our platform offerings: Lodging-as-a-Service (LaaS), Meeting-as-a-Service (MaaS), and Workforce-as-a-Service (WaaS). This department collaborates with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, prioritizing features through analytics and data to meet business goals and deliver an exceptional stakeholder experience.

Product Managers in this department own the program backlog, define product increments and releases, and are responsible for the product vision, roadmap, pricing, licensing, and ROI. They possess strong business and technical knowledge, along with excellent communication and prioritization skills.

The department operates based on HRS' leadership principles, prioritizing customer success, challenging the status quo, and fostering growth. They hire the most promising talent and develop team members through candid feedback.

Product Managers are continual learners, seeking to improve processes, products, and technologies. They take ownership of the entire customer experience, seek truth, and commit to decisions. Success in this role requires strong business and technical expertise, task prioritization, and excellent stakeholder communication.

POSITION

As a Product Designer in our Travel Tech segment, you will be a vital part of the Product Trio, working with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to discover, validate, and deliver solutions that solve real customer problems. You will focus on usability, ensuring our products are intuitive, efficient, and impactful. Your collaboration, strategic design, and user insights will help shape products that provide measurable value to users and the business.

CHALLENGE
  • Usability Ownership: Focus on removing friction in the user journey, ensuring designs solve real problems and meet user expectations with clarity and ease.
  • Discovery & Hypothesis Validation: Partner with the Product Trio to identify customer problems, explore solutions, and validate hypotheses via user research and rapid prototyping.
  • Continuous User Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, inquiries, workshops, and usability tests to gather insights.
  • Strategic Design Execution: Convert research findings into prototypes and pixel-perfect designs, ensuring usability and simplicity, and initiating change through narrative analysis (using Amazon 6-pager method).
  • Iterative Delivery: Work closely with engineers during implementation to ensure design quality and consistency, measuring success and iterating until goals are met.
  • Design System Contribution: Maintain and improve our proprietary Design System for consistency and scalability across platforms.

Your work will directly enhance an intuitive platform for booking workspaces, meeting rooms, and accommodations, improving the experience for business travelers and corporate bookers while integrating with third-party apps.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2 years of product design experience (B2B/B2C), creating intuitive interfaces for complex processes.
  • Expertise in usability testing, hypothesis-driven design, and data-focused iteration.
  • Collaborative mindset, capable of working within a Product Trio.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Miro, Dovetail, and User Interviews.
  • Experience in user research methods and translating insights into designs.
  • Excellent English communication skills, advocating for usability and stakeholder alignment.
  • Passion for agile development and modern Discovery and Delivery practices.

LOCATION & BENEFITS
