Strada is excited to be looking for a Contingent Workforce Program Manager who will lead the contingent worker program globally. This role requires exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of contingent worker programs. You will focus on leading and optimizing the global contingent workforce program, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective management of non-permanent workers. Partnering with the procurement team, you will manage the delivery and performance of our MSP provider and VMS technology, shaping and implementing market strategies for service line maturity.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement global contingent workforce strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring efficient and cost-effective resource management.
  2. Manage the end-to-end contingent workforce lifecycle, including job request intake, vendor management, onboarding, compliance, and offboarding.
  3. Oversee and optimize relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS), ensuring compliance with SLAs and driving continuous performance improvement.
  4. Ensure adherence to legal and policy requirements related to contingent labor, proactively addressing potential risks.
  5. Track workforce trends, analyze vendor performance, and produce actionable insights to improve program efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Serve as a primary point of contact for hiring managers and stakeholders, providing guidance on workforce solutions and policies.
  7. Identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting, and workforce planning, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
  8. Drive integration and collaboration within the team, acting as a role model and developing talent through coaching and feedback.
  9. Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  10. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success.
  11. Identify and mitigate risks associated with contingent workforce programs.
  12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  13. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  14. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  15. Strong analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  16. Ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
  17. In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to contingent workforce management.
  18. Experience with managing compliance and risk issues.
  19. Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  20. Experience in managing contingent workforce costs and budgets.
  21. Ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
  22. Knowledge of vendor management systems and contract negotiation.
  23. Proficiency in relevant software and systems, such as Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and HRIS.
  24. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  25. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in contingent workforce management.
  26. Understanding of different types of contingent workforce arrangements (e.g., MSP, independent contractors, temporary staff).
  27. Prior experience overseeing the outsource MSP, vendor performance, delivery, contract negotiations, and compliance.
