Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of UI Artists and 2D artists.
• Design high-fidelity UI experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and align with the product's goals, usability and accessibility standards, and brand.
• Guide and evolve the Visual and UI Design Systems to ensure a consistent and immersive gaming experience for players.
• Partner with UI, UX, Game Designers, Producers, Art Directors, Project Managers, and Software Engineering teams.
• Document and promote awareness of UI standards, and work to improve UI design workflow processes.
• Seek feedback on your work and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Contribute to a collaborative, service-minded, and learning culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a UI Artist or UI Designer in the gaming industry.
• A portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design skills, including typography, layout, composition, iconography, colour, and motion design.
• Leadership experience with small teams (1-10 people).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Figma.
• Experience in developing and applying style-guides and design systems.
• Good technical understanding and appreciation for creating flexible and scalable UI.
• Passion for UX, information design, and pixel-perfect solutions.
• Motivated to foster a collaborative, transparent, and learning-oriented team environment.
• Experience working within a game engine to create and implement UI features.
