A remote digital marketing agency seeks Freelance Creative Strategists to enhance their creative projects. This freelance opportunity allows for flexible project-based work, with full training provided for each assignment.

We are a remote digital marketing agency delivering exceptional results for our clients. We work with a range of brands, including e-commerce, finance, travel, subscription, health and fitness. We have a team of 80 people based all over the world and we are excited to continue growing the TRGT team.

We are part of an agency group called Sideshow, a holding company of 10 different agencies working on media, creative, CRO, website experience and data, bringing together a team of more than 600 people across the UK, Europe and North America.

We’re looking to add brilliant Freelance Creative Strategists to our roster of go-to collaborators . This is not a full-time role —we’ll reach out to onboard you project-by-project , based on campaign needs. Ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data and storytelling, and who can bring structure, insight, and direction to every brief.

What you’ll do :

  • Analyze creative performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct brand and industry research to fuel creative ideation and ensure relevance.
  • Translate insights into clear, inspiring creative briefs and strategic direction for designers and UGC creators.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage the delivery of creative projects from concept to execution—ensuring assets are on-brief, on-brand, and on-time.
  • Coordinate across designers, editors, and content creators to keep workflows smooth and aligned.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients—gathering input, managing feedback, and ensuring expectations are met throughout the process.

Creative Quality & Optimization

  • Review content to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with performance goals and platform best practices.
  • Provide actionable feedback and guidelines to creative teams to continuously improve output.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and recommend iterative improvements where needed.

Minimum 2 years of experience in performance marketing (e.g. Creative Strategy, Media Buying, Growth Marketing).

  • A strong understanding of creative’s role in driving performance across paid platforms.
  • Proven ability to analyze ad metrics and translate them into actionable creative direction.
  • Confidence in writing briefs, organizing timelines, and managing moving parts within a creative team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you know how to give and gather the right info at the right time.
  • A blend of strategic thinking and creative instincts—you can spot what’s working and know how to build on it.
  • Familiarity with UGC-style content, ad remixing, and working with freelancers or creators is a plus.
