TheHRChapter is hiring a Freelance Web Developer & Help Desk Support Specialist to join our small but dynamic remote team.

This role is ideal for someone reliable, tech-savvy, and solutions-oriented who enjoys working across multiple brands and resolving essential tech challenges that ensure smooth operations.

You will support two of our purpose-driven platforms:

TheHRChapter – Content and community for HR professionals and leaders
Coach4Expats – Personal and professional coaching for expats worldwide

This is a remote, part-time freelance role with flexible hours and ongoing collaboration.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and update WordPress websites (pages, blog posts, SEO basics, plugin updates)
• Troubleshoot website issues and provide first-line technical support
• Assist with integrations and tools (e.g., forms, email platforms, analytics)
• Monitor website performance and identify issues related to speed, UX, or security
• Collaborate directly with the brand founders to improve and optimize platforms

Requirements for success:

• Experience managing WordPress websites, especially with Elementor
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, responsive design, and performance best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot independently
• Effective communication skills and timely responses
• Bonus: experience with email marketing tools, automation, or graphic editing
