Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Ecommerce Manager to lead and optimize our online sales operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of our ecommerce platforms, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with marketing, sales, product, and IT teams to develop and implement ecommerce strategies that align with the company’s broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Online Store Management

  • Oversee the company’s eCommerce website or platforms (Shopify, Faire, Turis)
  • Ensure product listings, images, descriptions, and prices are accurate and up to date
  • Manage site performance, usability, and customer experience

Sales & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor online sales, conversion rates, average order value, and other KPIs
  • Analyse sales reports and website analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Forecast sales and set targets

Promotion

  • Support promotions, discounts, and seasonal campaigns

Customer Experience & Service

  • Ensure smooth and fast checkout and payment processes
  • Optimise website for mobile and desktop
  • Work with customer service teams to resolve online order issues

Inventory & Operations

  • Coordinate with supply chain, warehousing, and fulfilment teams
  • Monitor stock levels and avoid out-of-stock or oversupply situations
  • Support returns and refund processes
  • Work with developers or IT teams on website updates, new features, and bug fixes
  • Stay updated on eCommerce trends, tools, and technologies

Ideal Profile

Key Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple markets on Shopify

  • Shopify wizard – You understand the customer psychology of purchasing and are able to make a Shopify site sing with the sound of the cash register. You are also adept at multi-market Shopify management.
  • Data-Driven & Results-Oriented – You analyse key metrics and refine strategies to improve performance.
  • Self-Starter with Strategic Thinking – You thrive in a fast-moving, creative environment and can work independently while collaborating with the team.
  • Creative eye: You understand the importance of marrying brand storytelling with selling.
  • Collaborative Team Player: You thrive in a team environment, contributing ideas and working closely with colleagues in marketing, design, and sales to create a seamless digital experience.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring the website is polished, accurate, and aligned with the brand’s style.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Language: High-level of English, either Native speaker, or C1+
  • Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in a similar role within consumer goods.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an ability to produce high-quality content quickly and efficiently.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in Shopify, Google Analytics, and content management systems (CMS).
